Developed by L'Institut Guinot, Hydradermie is a highly effective professional treatment that cares for the face. In just over an hour of sheer relaxation, gentle galvanic and high-frequency massage releases the active principles found in our specialized preparations. How it works:

The appropriate Guinot cleanser and toner is applied, removing make-up and superficial impurities. A lotion is then applied to assist penetration of the treatment's active principles. The appropriate hydra gel for your skin's needs is then used and penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin using a mild galvanic current. Here, the hydra gel stimulates cellular regeneration and hydration as well as deep cleansing. The therapist then removes any impurities drawn to the surface of the skin.

More gel is applied and the massage continues with the fork electrode, which reaches the more inaccessible areas around the nose and eyes. Following this phase, any remaining blocked pores are cleared by gentle extraction.

A cream emulsion is then smoothed onto the face and neck over which is placed a fine gauze. High-frequency is then used to create an anti-bacterial and germicidal effect on the skin's surface, and circulation is boosted.

There follows a relaxing 10-15 minute massage with a nourishing re-balancing gel. A mask to suit the skin type and a touch of moisturizer completes the treatment. Monthly facials help to prevent blemishes, tone and re-hydrate the skin.

contra-indications & important notes about this treatment:

Clients may not have a Hydradermie facial treatment if:

• they suffer from epilepsy
• they have a Pacemaker - doctor's note required they have any metal plates, specifically in the head - doctor's note required. (Dental braces and bridgework are not a contra-indication)
• they are under the age of 15, unless they suffer from acne
• the client has had collagen injections less than two weeks beforehand

If the client is pregnant and suffers from a nervous disposition, we require a doctor's note to proceed with the treatment.
